Expansion supports continued company growth and brings new jobs to the city
(Feb. 16, 2017) – Investortools, Inc., a financial software firm based in the Chicago suburbs that specializes in solutions for fixed-income portfolio management, trading, compliance, credit analysis, and benchmark risk analysis, announced today that they are opening a new office location in Colorado Springs to accommodate its continued expansion in the fixed income industry.
Founded in 1983, Investortools products have been used by more than 250 financial institutions. From the one-manager office to firms managing tens of thousands of private accounts, Investortools software remains the trusted solution for many of the largest mutual funds, private account managers, banks, securities dealers, insurance companies, rating agencies, and more.
Investortools has leased space at 5555 Tech Center Drive for their Colorado Springs operation, which will accommodate up to 45 employees before further expansion is needed. They plan to co-locate with their primary independent contractor, Software Builders. In addition to a number of employees relocating to Colorado Springs, the company also plans to hire locally and is optimistic for continued growth.
“By opening an office in Colorado Springs, we are making an investment in the future of the company,” said Investortools Vice President Mike Green. “We are bringing together several different development and client service teams currently spread across the country to better serve our existing client base as well as help foster and take new products to market.”
Investortools Vice President Jon Anderson added, “We worked closely with the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC to establish this office, and were impressed by the community effort we saw to promote growth.” In addition to the opportunity to hire highly qualified people, Investortools is excited to offer employees a great place to live and to establish an office that enables easier access to west coast clients and prospects.
“From our first meeting with the Investortools team, we recognized they were a great match for our city. We are so pleased they agree with us,” said Dirk Draper, Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC President and CEO. “Investortools’ selection of Colorado Springs for their new office adds to our strong network of local firms in the financial services industry, and underscores the city’s attractiveness to tech companies.”
